Why Ridgeview exists
Ridgeview Direct Care opened in Wheat Ridge in 2026. It was founded by Dr. Christopher Kroner after twelve years of full-time academic practice at UC Irvine, where he was a Clinical Professor and Chief of Primary Care Sports Medicine. He saw the same problems again and again: three-to-six-month waits for appointments, call centers that kept patients from reaching their own doctor, and visits too short to solve anything. Ridgeview is his answer: a small practice where one physician knows your history and you can actually reach him.
Who we care for
Ridgeview serves adults, couples and families in Wheat Ridge, Arvada, Lakewood, Golden, Edgewater, Applewood and west Denver. Members come for everyday primary care: preventive visits, chronic conditions such as high blood pressure and diabetes, and same or next-day sick visits. Active adults and student athletes see Dr. Kroner for sports medicine, including in-office ultrasound and PRP injections, whether or not they are members. We also care for children and teens and offer employer memberships for local businesses.
What your first year as a member looks like
Most memberships start with a free meet and greet, followed by an unhurried first visit to go through your history, medications and goals. From there you have direct access to Dr. Kroner by phone, message or video, appointments the same or next business day for most needs, and a preventive plan built around your age and risk factors. Over the year, the point is continuity: the same doctor at every visit, who already knows what was tried last time and what your labs looked like.
